These terms govern the use of the Edura private-tutoring platform in the Kingdom of Bahrain, whether you are a parent, a student or a tutor.
The wording below describes how the platform actually works. Flagged clauses still need sign-off from legal counsel before commercial launch.
Edura is an intermediary platform connecting students and parents with independent tutors. The lesson is delivered by the tutor directly; the platform runs discovery, booking, payment coordination and verification.
You must provide accurate, current information. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for all activity from your account, and must tell us immediately about unauthorised use.
A booking is created when the request is submitted and stays in "awaiting payment" until the transfer is verified. In this version payment is made through BenefitPay with the proof sent on WhatsApp.
A tutor must keep qualifications accurate, arrive on time, behave professionally with the student and family, and not contact the student outside the lesson without the guardian's consent.
The booking party must provide accurate student details, provide a suitable environment for a home lesson, and attend or give early notice when they cannot.
The platform may suspend or terminate any account that breaks these terms, behaves improperly or provides misleading information, with reports made where required.
The platform's role is organisational. Lesson quality remains the tutor's responsibility; the platform verifies documents, identity and reviews to reduce risk.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and disputes are heard by the competent Bahraini authorities.
